SP Balasubramaniam to be felicitated
Buzz has it that playback singer, SP Balasubramaniam, who is much loved by the Telugu film fraternity, will be felicitated at a special function on friday commemorate his Padamabhushan Award.
A cultural organization will host this event at Shilpa Kala Vedika, which will see the biggest of stars from the South Indian film industry turning up. Thani-kella Bharani, Sai Kumar and Madhavapeddi Suresh, Famous Writer Puranapanda Srinivas are planning this function in a grand manner. The highlight however, is said to be the presence of actor Kamal Hassan and music maestro Ilayaraja at this event. The two are very close friends of SP Balu, as he is fondly called in the filmi circles. Word is out that Thanikella Bharani will dedicate his song, "Sabashra Shankar," written and sung by himself, to SPB.
